W Hotel’s New Exclusive Music Festival Is Just for Rewards Members

W Hotels has announced the launch of Wake Up Call, a music festival just for its Marriott Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest members. These multi-city events will be cropping up in Hollywood, Barcelona and Bali from this autumn and will feature multiple DJs and musical acts in a luxury atmosphere.

W Hotels has announced the launch of Wake Up Call, a music festival just for its Marriott Rewards® and Starwood Preferred Guest® (SPG®) members. This multi-day event will take place at W locations across the globe throughout the autumn and will feature a line-up of artists including Charli XCX, Robin Schulz and Pete Tong.

The season’s first Wake Up Call is slated to take place from September 1 – September 3 while W Barcelona will host the next round of festivities from September 21 – September 23. October will see W Bali host the year’s final leg of the festival, which will take place from October 4 – October 6.

While the exact details have not yet been announced, another festival will take place at some point in 2019 at W Dubai – The Palm.

Members of either rewards program are eligible to book accommodation at the above named properties for the entire duration of the festival, either as part of an entire hotel package or as part of a weekend pass. According to the FAQ‘s on the festival’s website, members are also eligible to book “an exclusive experience with a Wake Up Call Artist” as part of their stays.

Commenting on the inspiration behind Wake Up Call, the company states, “By taking over an entire hotel, Wake Up Call brings you all the things you love about music festivals (a curated line-up, a fun and friendly atmosphere) without all the things you don’t (dusty fields, uncomfortable accommodations, sub-par food). Each Wake Up Call will showcase a supreme line up of talented artists for two days.”

It adds, “Beyond an amazing music experience, participants can enjoy luxurious spa treatments, sophisticated food and beverage menus, and energizing fitness programs for guests who want detox, retox, and repeat.”

While some hotel packages are now open for guests to book, the hotel advises would-be festival goers to “check each festival location page frequently to get the latest updates.”
