Volaris Announces Five New Nonstop Routes

Mexican low-cost carrier, Volaris, has announced five new nonstop routes between Mexico and the United States beginning this spring. According to The Points Guy, the carrier serves the most cities in Mexico from the U.S. than any other airline.
The New Routes
The following routes will all be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft.
- Flight from Chicago (ORD) and Las Vegas (LAS) to Leon/Guanajuato, Mexico (BJX) will begin on April 2nd. Flights out of LAS will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. As far as ORD, there does not appear to be any day of the week that the route is consistently flown. According to the calendar on the airline’s website, the flight schedule is modified depending on the season.
- Flights from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Leon/Guanajuato, Mexico (BJX) and Zacatecas, Mexico (ZCL) will begin on April 3rd. Both will be operated on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- A seasonal flight between Los Angeles (LAX) and Cancun, Mexico (CUN) will operate from May 23rd to August 15th. The flight will run on Saturdays at 9:07 AM.
Volaris currently operates 188 routes to 65 cities and is the fastest-growing airline in Mexico.
