VIDEO: American Passenger Captures Photo of “UFO” Near Area 51

An American Airlines passenger has reportedly captured images of an unidentified flying object as his flight to Houston passed by the top-secret military base Area 51 on October 30. The unnamed passenger says he saw bright lights and a large silver disc in the desert below the aircraft as it passed near the base. That’s when he snapped the images. He claims no other passenger onboard the flight has yet to acknowledge the object.

Typical representation of how conspiracy theories start. Reach for a conclusion before doing even the most basic research on what a LOGICAL explanation may be.

That is the Nevada Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project. N38 14 17.93 W117 21‎ 50.61 Check it out using Google Earth in sat view. They may have been performing maintenance using spotlights at night. Hard to work on it during the day due to the intense heat it's focused solar beams generate. The smaller points of light above it are likely from reflections happening inside the camera's lens. http://www.solarreserve.com/en/global-projects/csp/crescent-dunes https://www.google.com/maps/uv?hl=en&pb=!1s0x80bc12a045751d3b:0xe272bd32ab77ada2!2m5!2m2!1i80!2i80!3m1!2i100!3m1!7e1!4shttps://picasaweb.google.com/lh/sredir?uname%3D103636037596911198766%26id%3D6191328839465294530%26target%3DPHOTO!5screscent+dunes+solar+reserve+-+Google+Search&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi_oseN_qvJAhXF4SYKHcmsD8IQoioIfDAK

Isn't that just the solar panel farm outside of Vegas? Nobody mentioned it because they probably are used to seeing it.

It's a solar energy farm. A field of mirrors reflects sunlight to a central tower, where it heats a fluid to run turbines and generate electricity. I've seen a couple of them myself on transcontinental flights. Of course, claiming it's an alien spacecraft sells more tabloids and attracts more clicks.
