$10K A Month For Airport Vests?

According to a representative from San Francisco International Airport (SFO), a much-derided vending machine in the busy west coast airport that dispenses Uniqlo down vests racks up about $10,000 per month.

After Twitter user @frankba posted a photo of the vending machine, the tweet went viral as users took turns roasting the machine, which sells the down vests at $49.90 a pop.

The puffy vests are the de facto uniform for Bay Area venture capitalists who are presumably attempting to look rugged.

Look rugged? They're not trying to be fashionable. It's to stay warm.
