United Suspends Pilot Who Called for Hanging Hillary Clinton

United Airlines has suspended pilot and West Virginian lawmaker Michael Folk from flying for the carrier after Folk tweeted that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should be hanged. “This pilot has been removed from flying pending our investigation,” a spokesperson for United tweeted on Sunday. “We are appalled by his threatening comments.” In a tweet that has since been deleted, Folk, a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, said that Clinton should be tried for treason and “hung on the mall in Washington, D.C.” Belinda Biafore, the West Virginia Democratic Party chair, said “Not only are Delegate Folk’s words concerning, they are disturbing” in a statement. “Folk’s actions should deem him as unfit to serve.”

This is now what passes for acceptable speech from an elected official. Well, OK. Not acceptable yet. But we are on our way. The dumbing of the political sphere. And yes, it would be a concern to fly with that type of enraged individual.

I don't care about what he's like in the cockpit - I dno't want to be flown by someone with those (kinda psychotic) attitudes!

He sounds like mentally unstable person. I'd be seriously worried if he was a first officer for the flight I was on.
