United Flight Blows Two Tires at Takeoff
Two tires on a United Airlines flight blew out at around 6 a.m. on Monday after the pilot stopped abruptly during takeoff due to fear of a potential mechanical problem with the aircraft. Officials at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) claim that the Boeing 737 have confirmed that there were no injuries reported among the 164 passengers and six crew members aboard the flight. Passengers disembarked and were taken back to the airport to board a separate flight bound for Denver. There are currently no reports on the cause of the mechanical malfunction that caused the incident.
