United Airlines Clearly Wants Star of Bachelorette & Runner-Up to Reunite
If you’re not one of millions who tuned in to season 15 of The Bachelorette, I’ll catch you up:
In the season finale, 25-year-old Hannah Brown didn’t get her “happily ever after.” Turns out, the winning contestant, Jedd Wyatt – a Nashville musician – allegedly had a girlfriend since the beginning of the show. Yikes! Later, Hannah reached out to castoff and runner-up Tyler Cameron for a second chance. Tyler, however, did NOT jump at the opportunity.
“I cherish Hannah and value her and our friendship so much, but I don’t think it’s healthy for us to jump into anything right away,” the runner-up told People. “I think we need to be friends and see where life takes us. Whatever happens, happens.”
Enter United Airlines.
It just so happens that United Airlines, and member of Bachelor Nation, is rooting for the pair to reunite. United offered a complimentary flight for Tyler, so he can visit Hannah for their date – which is still TBD.
Hey @TylerJCameron3, we heard you have an important date coming up. Need a ✈️ ride? 🌹 CC: @AlabamaHannah #BacheloretteFinale

“We’re rooting for Hannah and we thought what better way to help than by offering to get Tyler to her for their date,” an airline representative told Fox News. “Our tweet to Tyler is one of our most-liked tweets of this year and we thank Bachelor Nation for the support.”
Adorable, right? Not everyone thinks so.
Real people with real problems were quick to express their thoughts on social media.
Love that you're keeping tabs on the Bachelorette yet it'll take 21 business days for you to reply to my email. Seems like your priorities are in order. pic.twitter.com/tygXKpHovO

@united you can’t even get the people that PAY for tickets to their destinations… @TylerJCameron3 you should take an offer from @Delta or @AmericanAir

All’s fair in love, war and flight delays! (Isn’t that how it goes?)

How about getting back with Pete Weber? He is Delta pilot, and they can certainly steal the thunder.
