UAE: Qatari Fighter Jets Flew Too Closely to Emirates Jet

On Monday, a pair of Qatari fighter jets flew too closely to an Emirates aircraft flying through Bahraini airspace, according to the United Arab Emirates’ news agency, WAM. The alleged event is the third such incident brought to the UAE’s attention by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the United Nations’ aviation agency, and was condemned by GCAA as a “provocative action.”
