UA Pilots Back Contract Extension

Pilots employed with United Airlines have chosen to back a two-year contract extension that provides them with significant improvements in the workplace, the carrier said in a statement today. United CEO Oscar Munoz, said “The extension provides further momentum for United as we work together with the shared purpose of making United the best airline for our employees and customers.” The agreement – which covers more than 12,000 pilots – is now effective through January 2019.
