The United States Department of Transportation has reportedly been reviewing requests from major American carriers to repeal regulations preventing airlines from obscuring hidden fees from customers. Airlines 4 America, a lobbying group with major carriers such as United Airlines and American Airlines, allegedly believes that the “full-fare advertising” regulations are “cumbersome” for the aviation industry.

another way for them to hide these ridiculous fees they want to tack on. After fuel price went down to $2 per gallon the airlines were still permitted to add a fuel surcharge fee. Why? What else do they want to hide?
