Codesharing: Turkish and Hawaiian Airlines

Turkish Airlines (TK) and Hawaiian Airlines (HA) have both agreed to a codeshare deal for expanding options for customers to expedite travel from Turkey to Hawaii via Far East points. The agreement reached by the two companies allows Turkish Airlines to put its “TK” booking code on Hawaiian’s daily flights between Osaka, Japan and Honolulu and HA’s five-times-per-week service between Honolulu and Seoul, Korea.

The announcement was made jointly by TK and HA representatives at a ceremony in San Francisco. Ilker Aycı, chairman of TK, stated: “At Turkish Airlines, we are extremely pleased to sign this codeshare agreement with Hawaiian Airlines.” In addition, TK and HA are also considering an extension of their codeshare agreement to include flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK).
