Turbulence Forces Flight to Make U-Turn Back to O’Hare

American Airlines flight 54 to Manchester Airport (MAN) was forced to return to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) less than an hour after taking off Wednesday when it encountered intense turbulence. Minor injuries were reported among two female crew members – who have now been hospitalized – though no injuries of passengers were reported.

I've had this happen with Delta but they didn't turn around. I am guess because we were close to the destination. They just simply kept apologizing. I was a bit upset with my head hitting the window.
