TSA to Add More Dogs, Agents for Summer Preparation

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) claims to be preparing for record passenger numbers this summer by reinforcing its workforce with 2,000 more officers and 50 more canine teams than were present this time last year.

“As we approach the summer break, securing the travel of millions of passengers daily remains our top priority,” said acting administrator Huban A. Gowadia. “It is well known that terrorists continue to focus on aviation, which is why the TSA continues to focus on providing robust security screening.”
