The Transportation Security Administration allegedly has plans to enroll approximately 25 million people in its Trusted Traveler programs, particularly Precheck and Global Entry, by 2019. The program will ostensibly give travelers five years of expedited security clearance in exchange for some personal information (as well as $85). As part of a deal with concert promoter LiveNation, travelers are encouraged to secure Precheck status at music festivals, and Precheck and Global Entry will also be available at Department of Motor Vehicle offices across Virginia and several national hotels.”Our brand research found that Precheck makes people feel rewarded, respected, empowered and engaged … So, broadening distribution is critical to making it easier for consumers to buy our product,” said David Lim, the TSA’s Executive Marketing Officer.
