The New Air Force One Looks Very Familiar

Trump recently revealed his plans for the new version of Air Force One with a completely new patriotic paint scheme, which some say bears a striking resemblance to a British Airways plane of yesteryear. Say goodbye to baby blue and white and hello to red, white, and navy on the exterior of the plane.
Trump recently unveiled his plans for a newly designed Air Force One that dispatches with the time-honored baby blue and white color scheme. The new one will be red, white, and navy, with a decidedly more patriotic slant to the design.
Only one problem, though: a lot of people on social media are saying the plane is a rip-off of a 1980s British Airways aircraft design, The Sun reports.
Twitter user dannyctkemp called it out, tweeting, “Great to see Trump going for the retro 80s-90s British Airways livery for Air Force One.”

User Desert09 repeated the sentiment, tweeting, “It looks a little like a British Airways plane. Who asked trump to change the color of AF1 anyway? That would be…no one.”
The planes in use currently have been flying for 30 years. There are three floors, including doctors’ offices, fully-stocked kitchens that can feed about 100 people at once, and built with armored windows.
The new designs will have similar features, but also some secret enhancements.
“There are a couple of secrets,” Trump said, reported by The Sun. “You know what, there are a couple of secrets I don’t think we’re supposed to be talking about.”

There's only so many ways to paint a plane. It's always going to look like someone else's design.
Luckily, the paint scheme is the last thing to be applied and the easiest to change, especially before delivery.
