Traveler Shot Dead At Ticket Counter at CCS

Traveler Shot Dead At Ticket Counter at CCS

A traveler was shot to death on Tuesday while at the ticket counter of Simón Bolívar International Airport (CCS). An airport security video circulating on social media shows a “man with a handbag” walk calmly up to the victim, shoot him, then flee on on foot. No other details are available at this time.

This is the latest incident in a string of security concerns that have caused a number of foreign carriers to pull out of the country, and the second fatal shooting at this airport.
