Tourist Responds to Delay With Bomb Threat

A 27-year-old Chinese tourist waiting on the runway at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) vented his frustrations with airport delays caused by extreme weather conditions by allegedly announcing that he had a bomb hidden in his luggage, causing the pilot to park the plane so that passengers could be re-screened by security. The passenger and his traveling companions were interrogated by police after the incident, and bomb disposal units were brought in to inspect the claim, ultimately finding no bombs aboard the flight. A Chinese government report has found that nearly one-third of Chinese flights are delayed, 29 percent of which are due to bad weather and another 20 percent due to “other reasons.”

I say let the other passengers "deal with" the troublemaker... carte blanche. That'd stop this crap quickly.
