Tiara-Wearing Flyer: Assault Charge

A woman wearing a tiara who allegedly bit a fellow passenger onboard a Turkish Airlines flight to JFK in July is now being charged with assault. According to court papers, the offender, 38-year-old Stacey Engman, was telling passengers she had previously “been on a yacht for five days,” and fell asleep at some point in the flight on 33-year-old Christine Tyler. When Tyler protested, Engman went into a frenzy and eventually bit Tyler on her backside.
