Thousands Stranded as Airline’s FAs Continue Strike Wednesday

For the fifth time in six days, Lufthansa’s flight attendants have continued to strike – primarily over retirement benefits – leaving around 100,000 passengers with cancellations Wednesday.

Flights to Charlotte, Denver and New York are just a few routes affected by the disruption and, according to Lufthansa. Over 300,000 passengers have faced cancellations since the strikes began Friday.

On its website, the airline said it “will do its utmost to keep the effects of a strike to a minimum and to inform passengers as soon as possible.”
