In Brief: Airlines Cancel Thousands of Flights, Waive Change Fees in Face of Winter Storm Juno

Around 15 percent of all domestic flights in the U.S. were grounded Tuesday as airlines took precautions against the major Northeastern snowstorm known as Winter Storm Juno. A number of airlines bracing for the blizzard are waiving change fees as customers search for alternate flights. Travelers with itineraries scheduled over the coming days are encouraged to check their flight statuses before going to the airport. As of Tuesday afternoon, more than 7,500 flights have been canceled through Wednesday.
