Thomas Cook Under Scrutiny for Pay Inequality

Shareholder group The Institutional Voting Information Service has called into question tour operator Thomas Cook Group’s pay policies, citing concerns about a planned bonus for CEO Peter Fankhauser in conjunction with alterations to the company’s long-term incentive plan that rewards Fankhauser.

“The remuneration committee engages with shareholder and advisory groups on remuneration during the year and any proposed changes and takes their comments and feedback on board,” Thomas Cook Group said in a statement.
