There’s a New Way to Earn Points With Hilton Honors in the New Year

Hilton Honors members can earn “Points Unlimited” to ring in 2020 with a bang. In the promotion starting Jan. 6, 2020, registered members will earn 2,000 base Hilton Honors points with every stay, and 10,000 points every ten nights–with no limit to 10,000-point bonuses they can receive through May 3, 2020!

Hilton Honors wants to reward members who choose their hotels through the first five months of 2020 with “Points Unlimited.” Starting Jan. 6, 2020, registered members have an opportunity to earn a major bonus for every ten nights they stay at their favorite participating Hilton portfolio brands!

How Members Can Earn “Points Unlimited”

As with all Hilton Honors promotions, members must first register at the Hilton website. Once registered, the promotion officially begins with stays after Jan. 6, 2020.

With every single stay, frequent guests can earn a base 2,000 points for their check-in, in addition to any points they would regularly earn. For every cumulative 10 nights, guests earn a bonus 10,000 points in addition to their bonus 2,000 and all points earned per their elite tier.

If that were not good enough: there’s no limit to how many points members can earn during the promotion. On top of the 2,000 points per stay, the 10-night counter resets. This means throughout the “Points Unlimited” period ending May 3, 2020, guests can earn 10,000 points for every 10 cumulative nights stayed.

According to the terms and conditions, the bonus points do not count towards elite status qualification. The offer is not valid for group stays and cannot be combined with other offers. Finally, don’t plan on using those points immediately: it may take up to eight weeks for the promotional points to end up in your account.

Is It a Good Deal?

What makes this a good deal in our book is the extremely long promotional period, along with the actual unlimited points earning opportunity. Along with the regular number of points you would earn for your stay, you will pick up another 2,000 points with every stay, along with 10,000 for every 10 nights. If you have 35 nights of stays through the first five months of the year, you will earn 30,000 points – along with every 2,000 per qualifying stay and the points you earn as a member.

For Hilton loyalists, this is a great way to ring in 2020 with the chance to earn a lot of points and miles. Register early and get ready to earn a lot of Hilton Honors points with Points Unlimited!

@rylan Huh? Marriott has had something similar while Hilton was stingy. First 2000 added points for 2 stays. Then 15,000 points for 6 stays. Now 27,000 for 9 stays in sets of 3. And you can get something with 15,000 Marriott points. Hilton? I don’t think so. 35 nights (ouch!!) get you 30,000 points, aka one night in a low point hotel. About 3% return (well, other than the other part). Not "way better" at all in my hotel life.

@rylan - Couldn't agree more. I miss the Marriott Rewards Megabonus days where you could get a ton of valuable points. Long gone. I'm glad I switched over to Hilton a year ago, though I'm missing the Ritz properties. Waldorf is a nice consolation though. :D

Way better than the last few garbage 'promotions' that Marriott has run....
