The Last-Ever Virgin America Flights Get A Date

Well folks, this is officially the end. Alaska Airlines has just set a date — April 24th — for Virgin America’s last three flights ever. On that date, two passenger flights will leave from San Francisco. One will fly to Newark, the other to Los Angeles.

The third flight is reserved as a commemorative flight for Virgin America employees and will take a short flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

This marks the end of the carrier’s 11-year history as one of the most colorful airlines in the sky.
