Suicide Bombing Suspect Traded Seats Before Explosion

Abdullahi Abdisalam Borleh, the man suspected of detonating a bomb aboard a Daallo Airlines flight in Somalia last week, reportedly traded seats with another passenger before the smuggled bomb exploded mid-flight, according to airline CEO Mohammed Ibrahim Yassin. The other passenger was originally sitting next to the window, but agreed to move to an aisle seat after the suspected bomber requested the switch.

Yassin believes that the bombing may have been an inside job involving an unknown number of airport employees. Surveillance video footage shows two men in airport staff uniforms handing a laptop, in which the bomb is believed to have been concealed, to the suspected bomber, which appears to corroborate the suspicion.
