Star Alliance: New Tokyo Check-In Process

Star Alliance has successfully unveiled a new check-in concept in the south wing of Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) that is meant to give customers a broader range of check-in options and more control over the travel process. The design layout of the check-in area was altered to allow guests to find check-in desks categorized by airline rather than by class of travel, as was previously standard at Narita. The new changes to the check-in process make Star Alliance the first airline alliance to allow travelers departing from Japan the ability to self-print and self-tag.
