SPG Members Can Now Transfer Points to Virgin America

Effective immediately, current participants in Starwood’s Preferred Guest program will be allowed to transfer their accrued points directly to Virgin America’s Elevate program at a 1-to-1 ratio, and Elevate members will be able to earn two points for every dollar spent at Starwood. This change is an addition to Starwood’s pre-existing partnerships with airlines such as Emirates, and it coincides with Virgin’s new seasonal daily nonstop flights from Los Angeles to Honolulu and Oahu effective May 5, and to Kahului and Maui effective June 14.
