Southwest Flight Grounded Over Creepy Game of Footsie

A Southwest Airlines flight to Dallas was forced to land in order for a 29-year-old passenger to be detained after attempting to rub his feet on his seatmates’ legs without her consent and continuing to attempt this unprompted game of footsie after she changed seats to avoid him.

The passenger, who has since been charged with simple assault and interfering and intimidating members of a flight crew, was removed after the flight diverted to Albuquerque, and the flight was able to continue on to its destination in Dallas.
