Sleep Like a King in This Luxury Hotel in Palace of Versailles

In the spring of 2020, France’s Château de Versailles is due to open the doors of its very first on-site hotel. The luxury property, Le Grande Contrôle, will have views of the grounds of the historic site and will offer a selection of 14 rooms and apartments. Reservations open in December of 2019.

Living like a king is one thing, but those who visit France’s Château de Versailles will soon have the opportunity to sleep like one too, reports CNN. In the spring of 2020, the former royal residence will boast its very own hotel, Le Grand Contrôle.

Le Grand Contrôle will be set in buildings that adjoin the main palace. The hotel will be operated by the Airelles Collection, which states on its website that, “Le Grand Contrôle is a true gem featuring 14 rooms and apartments, a signature Alain Ducasse restaurant, wellness centre, and indoor swimming pool.”

In addition to featuring interiors in-keeping with its period surrounds, the property will also offer views of the château’s orangery as well as its Pièce d’Eau des Suisse, a decorative fountain.

As the outlet reports, the room rates for this one-of-a-kind luxury hotel have not yet been publicly released, but reservations will open on December 2019.
