Sky Harbor’s $950M Plan for Terminal 4 and Train Expansion Approved

A $950 million plan at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) that includes an expansion to Terminal 4 and  the addition of Sky Train service from the airport to its connected Rental Car Center has been approved by the Phoenix City Council. Only one member of the city council was opposed to the expansion.

James Bennett, the airport’s aviation director, claims that the Sky Harbor’s long lines between the airport and the Rental Car Center lasts long past the critical mass of tourism season and that the expansion will greatly reduce the wait for travelers.
