Seven New Marriott Hotels Coming to China

Marriott International will be bringing seven of its properties to China as the company recently signed franchise agreements.

“China is a highly important market,” said Arne Sorenson, president & chief executive of Marriott International. “Our signing of these agreements reflects our goal to meet the needs of both international and domestic visitors by introducing hotels carrying Marriott’s brands in close partnership with Chinese hotel.”

According to Business Traveller, the following five of the properties will be managed by the company’s Chinese partner Eastern Crown Hotels Group:

Fairfield by Marriott, Chongqing Riverside
Fairfield by Marriott, Dongguan Changping
Fairfield by Marriott, Meizhou South
Fairfield by Marriott, Foshan Nanhai
Fairfield by Marriott Nanning Nanhu Park

Additionally, a new Courtyard by Marriott will be added to Chengdu’s Tianfu New District and a new Marriott Hotel will be built in Jinhua.
