‘Security Concern’ Forces United Flight to Divert

A suspicious device onboard a Boeing 737 en route to San Diego forced the flight to divert to Denver International Airport (DEN). According to CBS News, a passenger spotted the “possible security concern” and, after those onboard were bussed from the plane upon landing, a security sweep and investigation was carried out by Denver police. The device was ultimately deemed harmless.
