Scottish Travelodges’ Weird Lost & Found Items

Though the most common items left behind at branches of Travelodge in Scotland include chargers and toothbrushes, a list compiled by the hotel’s lost and found office suggests it does occasionally encounter unique possessions. Such items include: a set of bagpipes, a canoe, a grandfather clock, and a pony called Pudding.

“What is becoming evident after speaking to our customers is that the pace of modern life is fast and furious,” said Travelodge spokeswoman Shakila Ahmed. “We are controlled by time and eager to get from A to B, therefore valuable possessions are being forgotten.” While the company claims Pudding still tops its list of “strangest lost objects,” items like a replica of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress and a collection of light sabers have been discovered at some of its other U.K. properties.
