Samsung Tablet Overheats, Forces Flight to Divert

A Delta Air Lines flight from Detroit en route to Amsterdam was forced to divert because a Samsung tablet overheated, causing smoke to fill the business class. When the Boeing 767-400 touched down at Manchester, maintenance crews located the device – which was not a Note 7 – tucked beneath a seat.
