After a number of cancellations by Ryanair were reported on Monday, the carrier was quick to assure flyers that the cancellation notices were the result of a server issue on the website, and that, for example, a flight from Belfast to Manchester for a boxing match between Carl Frampton and Josh Warrington is still slated to depart at the scheduled time.

“No, our Derry and Belfast winter 2018 schedules will operate as planned, but some flights were temporarily unavailable on our website earlier today, due to a server issue, which has since been resolved,” said a spokesperson for Ryanair.
