Ryanair Calls French Soccer Team “Cheating B*****s”

Ryanair caused a kerfuffle on Friday after referring to France’s soccer team, which won a semi-final match against Germany on Thursday, as “cheating b******s” after the controversial award of a penalty by officials. Moments after Les Bleus were awarded the penalty, the Ryanair’s Twitter account tweeted: “Wait a minute, so they know what a handball is in France? #Neverforget. #CheatingB******s.” The tweet was deleted shortly after being posted to the low-cost carrier’s account, but French soccer fans lashed out at Ryanair for the comment. “Who do they think they are?” tweeted Jean Martinez from Paris. “The Irish always treat us with great respect, yet this airline does this.”

Sounds more like whoever is responsible for Ryanair's twitter account forgot to log off and back into their personal account.
