Russia, China to Jointly Develop Aircraft

Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) are set to launch a joint project at the end of 2016 where they will develop a number of  widebody aircraft. According to the terms of the agreement for the venture, COMAC and UAC will manufacture, market and offer after-sale support for the newly-minted aircraft.

At Airshow China, COMAC recently showed off designs for a 281-seat widebody aircraft.

120,000 km range is impressive. I do wonder who would want to fly around the globe multiple times at once though.
