Rent One, Get One from Hertz, Plus a Chance to Win 1 Million Points

Hertz is targeting select new loyalty program members with an opportunity to earn a big bonus.

If you join Gold Plus Rewards and complete one qualifying rental by Sept. 30, you can earn 550 bonus points, which is enough for one standard weekend rental day. Only those located in the U.S. and Canada and are at least 21 years old are eligible for the offer.

The qualifying rental must be at least one full day long and total at least $25. The pick-up must be from a Hertz location that participates in point earning, and an advance reservation is required. Bonus points can take up to four weeks from the promotion’s date to post.

Additionally, rentals made between Sept. 12 and Dec. 31 will enter you for a chance to win 1 million Hertz Gold Plus Rewards points. All rentals equal to one entry, regardless of the length, so the more frequently you rent, the bigger chance you have to win. This promo is open to U.S. residents only.

In addition to one Grand Prize, 100 First Prizes, 500 Second Prizes and 500 Third Prizes will be awarded. First, Second and Third Prize winners will win one free standard weekly rental, one free standard weekend rental and one free standard weekend rental day, respectively.

You can also enter to win by mailing a postcard with your name, complete home address, telephone number, birth date, email address and your Gold Plus Rewards member number to Hertz Great Gold Giveaway Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 10798, Rochester, NY 14610. All mail-in entries are limited to one per day and must be postmarked no later than Jan. 2.
