Real-Time Passenger Aircraft Tracking

The International Civil Aviation Organization, the U.N.’s official aviation agency, announced new necessities for the real-time tracking of passenger aircraft. The council now requires the aircraft to carry tracking devices that constantly refresh, showing the plane’s location at least once a minute. The update comes after the two-anniversary of the disappearance of Flight MH370, which is still missing.
