Providence to Become New Transatlantic Base for Norwegian Air

Low-cost carrier Norwegian Air has announced that the second of its two new bases for transatlantic flights will be located in Providence, Rhode Island. In 2016, Norwegian announced its plans to commence flights from two smaller Northeastern U.S. airports as part of a push for bases to house pilots flying its Boeing 737 MAX jets.
