Potential Spanish ATC Strikes Imperil Summer Flights

Tensions are rising after Spanish air traffic control professionals gave the government until Friday of this week to respond to their intention to strike in July and August, although there are allegedly plans in place for an eleventh-hour meeting between officials.

Unless called off, the ATC strikes will affect eastern Spain at airports like El Prat Airport (BCN), Ibiza Airport (IBZ) and Menorca Airport (MAH).
