Possible Smoke in Cabin Grounds UA Flight

On Tuesday morning, a United Airlines flight departing from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to Greenville–Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) was forced to divert to Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) at around 9:37 a.m. local time due to an odor of smoke permeating the cabin.

The aircraft is allegedly under inspection by United Airlines’ maintenance crew.
