Possible Engine Issue Stalls Boeing 737 Max Test Flight

On Wednesday, Boeing confirmed that the aircraft manufacturer would be delaying test flights for its new Boeing 737 Max due to a potential manufacturing issue with a crucial engine component.

Boeing said in a statement that it would be working closely with CFM International, a General Electric/Safran joint, to “understand the precise scope and root cause of the quality issue.”

Any delay in inflicting another cramped, noisy, and narrow, 737 on the flying public is not necessarily a bad thing.
