Plane Diverted, Man Arrested for Fraud

After his Pakistan International Airlines flight was diverted to London Stansted Airport (STN) Tuesday, a 52-year-old man was charged with committing fraud today. According to reports, the Airbus A330 – which was originally en route to Heathrow (LHR) – landed at STN because of an unrelated disruptive passenger. The man, Khalid Baqa, committed fraud by false representation and was set to be arrested at LHR, but was held at STN because of the diversion.
