Pilot Passes out, Misses Runway by 29 Miles

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating a November 8 flight in which the pilot of a twin-engine aircraft fell asleep mid-flight, thus overshooting the intended runway at King Island Airport (KNS) by about 29 miles. The flight was one of seven completed that day by the aircraft as part of its operation between Australia and King Island.
