@1stRanger: I came here to say the same thing. Sounds like a male passenger distributed $2 bills to his fellow PAX and Natalie posted about it on Facebook.
@SpartyAir: I was confused the same way even before I read your comment. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Ryan Boyd has written erroneous information in his snippet. Writing in a rush to get something out to the website before some deadline? Here is my feedback post in the forum, after my comment to Ryan's news snippet in 2016 disappeared: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/technical-support-feedback/1819147-ft-front-page-news-stories-feedback-discussion.html
Does anyone discern a disconnect in this article? Why would Natalie Gunderson (sounds like a woman's name to me) write a facebook post that says "On our flight to NC tonight there was a man who received a $2 bill..."? If Natalie was the one who distributed the $2 bills (as the author of this article wrote) she would have written "On our flight to NC tonight I...". Further more, if the person who was trying to be doing a good deed by handing out the $2 bills, he probably would not boast about it by posting on facebook "Hey look what I did".
