Passenger Attempts to Open Emergency Exit on Southwest Flight

On Sunday, a Houston-bound Southwest Airlines flight was forced to divert to Corpus Christi, Texas, after a woman aboard the flight attempted to open the emergency exit, according to the other passengers. According to Southwest, the pilot decided to land after being made aware by the flight crew of a potential threat in the cabin of the aircraft. Local police waited to escort the passenger from the aircraft after it landed in Corpus Christi.
