Over 50 Flights Canceled After AMS Glitch

Over 50 departing and arriving flights at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) were canceled due to a failure of air-traffic control systems, and hundreds more faced substantial delays due to the “critical systems issue” that struck the airport. The glitch reportedly affected the air traffic control’s radar correlation software, which interprets and evaluates primary and secondary radar information.
