One-Way Flights Surge After Election Decision

Since election night (and the appointment of Donald Trump as the 45^th president of the U.S.), searches for one-way flights from the U.S. to Canada more than doubled, according to CheapFlights.com.

“The data so far shows that Canada looks to be the favourite potential safe haven for nervous results watchers,” the company said.

Compared to the past four Tuesday evenings, the number of searches for the route rose 133 percent.
