NFL Player Claims AA Booted Him From Flight

Tyrone Crawford, a defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys, claims American Airlines booted him from a flight Thursday over the size of his carry-on. Crawford briefly took to Twitter for a (now-deleted) commentary on the situation. The player was reportedly sitting in an exit row with his bag when a flight attendant approached him and asked for the bag to be checked because it was an inch too big. Crawford said he waited for a manager to appear and determine if the bag did indeed need to be checked. However, the manager never showed. Because he claims he didn’t want to delay the flight, Crawford chose to check the bag. He then allegedly called the crew member a “bum” and refused to move out of the employee’s way for a short period of time. The defensive tackle was then called to the front of the plane and asked to leave.
