New Report Says Airline’s On-Time Performance Is Up
A report released Wednesday by the U.S. Transportation Department says major U.S. airlines improved their on-time performance in June with an average of 78 percent of flights arriving on time – a number that’s up from June 2015’s 74.8 percent. However, compared to this past May, which boasted an 83 percent, that number is down.
A ranking of the carriers with the best on-time performance saw Hawaiian Airlines at the top, with Alaska Airlines and SkyWest coming in at second and third, respectfully.
